The Election Petition Tribunal sitting In Ilorin, Kwara State has nullified the victory of Miss Rukayat Shittu of All Progressives Congress, APC, for the Owode -Onire Constituency of Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State, over the petition filed by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Abdullahi Yinusa Magaji.
The Tribunal in the ruling held that a re-run election be held in five polling units of the Constituency.
26-year-old Rukayat was declared winner of the Owode -Onire Constituency in the general election held earlier in the year.
She was known to be the youngest Member of the State House of Assembly.
