Senegalese footballer Alasasane Diallo has been declared missing in Ghana after reportedly falling victim to fake football recruitment scheme.

The incident has raised questions and alarm among his family and the football community.

Diallo was said to have traveled to Ghana on October 18, 2025, after being promised a chance to join a professional club. He was allegedly asked to pay a total of £2,050 as part of the recruitment process. His family complied, but communication with him suddenly ceased.

Efforts to trace or or reach Diallo have since proven unsuccessful, prompting his family to call on Ghanaian authorities and the public to assist in locating him.
