Information reaching us has it that the former Niger Delta Development Commission, (NDDC) Executive Director of Project, Chief Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, the Akinuwa Of Agbor Kingdom slumped and died last night while Nigeria and South African football match was going on.
9News Nigeria South-South correspondent confirmed the incident via phone conversation with the CEO of Leap TV, who told us that the man died during the football match between Nigeria Super Eagle and South Africa.
He said: “Chief Cairo was watching the live match between Nigeria and South Africa, in the course of the match, a penalty was awarded against Nigeria.
It was revealed that as soon as the South African team scored against Nigeria, Dr Cairo was reported to have screamed and then collapsed, so sad he passed on.”
