South Africa’s petrol, diesel pump prices to fall in July

OHANNESBURG (Reuters) – The retail price of petrol in South Africa will decrease by more than 5 percent from July 5, while the price of wholesale diesel will fall by nearly 5.2 percent, the energy department said on Saturday.

The price of petrol will fall by 69 cents to 12.86 rand per litre in the commercial hub of Gauteng province, while diesel will go down by 60 cents to 10.97 rand per litre, the department said in a statement.
