South-South Journalist Dares Governor Ben Ayade To Show Nigerians The 38,000 Aides He Appointed In Cross Rivers
9News Nigeria South-South Chief Editor, Amb Emmalex David Atseyinku has challenged the Cross Rivers State governor, his Excellency Sen Ben Ayade over his recent Statement made during his interview with the Arise Tv.
Governor Ben Ayade has recently defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressive Congress (APC) and while responding to a question by the Arise TV host said that he appointed 38,000 Aides to reduce unemployment and poverty in Cross Rivers State.
This statement has been questioned by many who doubted the governor’s claim that he actually reduced unemployment in Cross Rivers state.
Amb Emmalex reacted to the governor’s claim and asked Governor Ben Ayade to show Nigerians the said number of persons he empowered out of poverty in Cross Rivers State.
Emmalex argued that the Cross Rivers state governor has been promoting nonevidential documentaries of his fast-growing Infrastructural and Human Capital Developments on TV and Social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
Amb Emmalex said that in order to confirm and substantiate the governor’s media advertisements, he took his time to pay a private visit to the said state where he found out that what he has been hearing or seeing on TV and Social media were only pictures and videos and not any reality.
“Cross Rivers State people are dying and smiling.”
“I challenge his Excellency senator Ben Ayade to come out and show Nigerians the 38,000 Persons he elevated from poverty with his appointment in Cross Rivers State, he should stop acting home movie for Nigerians,” Emmalex added.
