Of a truth, the cry of Imo women has come to my ears few hours after their meeting in Owerri was concluded.

From the reports gathered, Imo women were starved at the event and the transport money given out to be shared among them turned out to become a charade.

How can Imo women continue to cry loud complaining of hunger and thirstiness that emanated from the grand finale of the August Meeting held yesterday in Owerri?

Information reaching us has it that, the women stood hungry till the closure of the event unlike the days oOhakim when money and good food were shared at regular state events.

However, it is as if the state is politically stagnated without further activities to put smiles on the faces of Imolites.

It is my best advice to the state government to allow money flow at various camps and offices to enable the same get to the less privileged and low-income artisans who will also partake from the largesse.

Honestly, the complaint is much by the masses in Imo state who have regretted the governance system brought into the state by the then Owelle administration as speculated.

The women have compared and contrasted both leadership and came up with the conclusion that PDP is more lively and gave the present APC a negative nod to its operation.

Let us have a rethink than being stingy and carefree.

The people are furious and this may affect the next fallout in the subsequent Elections. A wise leader should listen and play the game better in order to improve the state.

God bless Imo state!!
