This development has affirmed the appointment of Imo Chief Judge, Justice Ijeoma Aguguo against the suit filed.

However, Hon Justine Brown filed a case at the supreme court against the appointment of Justice Ijeoma Aguguo, and the NJC was included in the matter.

It was confirmed that the supreme court struck out the matter on lack of competence and affirmed Justice Ijeoma Ogugua as the authenticated Chief Justice CJ of Imo state.

Recall that by her appointment as CJ Imo state, series of unfounded rumours were filled up against her position and Imo people wondered what the government has done to appoint her as CJ.

By this development in the judicial system, the masses can be assured of Justice just as Justice Ijeoma Agugua was reinstalled.
