This implies that among all celebrities, excellence in educational achievements must not be overemphasized.
Among other scholars, Ms Njoku Chidera Cynthia graduated with first class honours and has been awarded a gold medal for her academic excellence and a scholarship for her onward doctorate degree by same university where she made Nigeria proud in the year 2018.
9News Nigeria authoritatively gathered that the said award winner hails from Imo state Nigeria and since then she recorded this feat in India and came back to Nigeria, no government has ever called on her family or call to celebrate her excellence.
This may have happened to her because the poor Chidera has no contact or godfather in the government. But if it were entertainment, show of nudity, corruption and lavish of funds on irrelevant projects, those at positions of power would have poured encomium on the celebrants.
On this therefore, stakeholders in the academic circle have criticized this slight exhibited on the little lad that brought glory to the Nigerian government and call on Imo state and Nigeria to celebrate her academic excellence.
They frowned at the government in power at the time this award was brought home and till date no encouragement, appointment or even a thank you party was organized in her honour believing that Imo state government under the leadership of the peoples governor Uzodinma will celebrate this feat.
