Nigerian music video director and producer, Thankgod Omori, popularized as TG Omori recently underwent an unsuccessful kidney transplant in Lagos.
He revealed that the kidney ailment remains and he needs fervent prayers and support from fans.
According to TG, his kidney got damaged sometime in 2023.
9News reports that the director’s only brother donated one of his kidneys for the surgery on Monday, August 26, 2024.
However, in a post on his X handle on Wednesday, Omori wrote; “One year after my kidney crashed I just had a failed transplant at St Nicolas Lagos. Pray for me.”
TG Omori is a popular Nigerian music video director and cinematographer who has directed music videos for various recording artists including Wizkid, Burna Boy, Olamide, Tekno, Kizz Daniel among others.
At the 2022 Headies, he won the Best music video Director of the year award.
