Two of the most famous Nollywood actresses ever lived, Stephanie Okereke and Genevieve Nnaji were reported to have fought over a man in 2011.
It was said that Stephanie Okereke found out that Genevieve Nnaji was having an affair with a man she introduced to her from the presidency.
According to the reports, the feud between the two actresses started during the President GEJ campaign period when the Nollywood actresses started the romance-politics. Information that came out stated that Stephanie Okereke was spearheading the campaign contact group with the film industry for Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
The actresses Genevieve and Stephanie were mostly seen with the presidency officials which was led by the Presidential Adviser on Strategy and documentation Oronto Douglas during campaign rallies and meetings.
Along the line, Genevieve Nnajia started having closed-door meetings with Oronto and other presidential aides at Raddison Blu Hotel, Victoria Island without the knowledge of Stephanie.
Sources say the war between the actresses commenced when Oronto started enjoying the company of Genevieve better than that of Stephanie.
Stephanie felt left out and they fought each other vigorously, physically and verbally.
Stephanie Okereke is however now married to her husband Linus Idahosa.
The two tied the nuts in a private ceremony in Paris while Genevieve is still unmarried but has a daughter who married in 2016.
