Hatred and pride he exhibited. Piers Morgan fell off the Good Morning Britain show yesterday when his bad manners added to his hatred of Meghan Markle.
From what we observed, it seems as if for years he showed that hell hath no fury than a broadcaster scorned by a celebrity friend.
His co-presenter Alex Beresford captured the matter succinctly. “I understand that you don’t like Meghan Markle, you’ve made it so clear a number of times on this programme. I understand you’ve got a personal relationship with Meghan Markle, or had one and she cut you off,” he said.
“Has she said anything about you since she cut you off? I don’t think she has, but yet you continue to trash her,” Alex added.
The comments clearly touched a nerve as Piers dramatically stood up and stormed off set, saying: “Okay, I’m done with this… I can’t do this”
Exasperated Alex responded:
“Absolutely diabolical behaviour, I’m sorry but Piers spouts off on a regular basis and we all have to sit here and listen”.
Make no mistake about this matter. It is not about freedom of speech, as some misguided folks have framed it. It is about professional ethics and etiquette.
PIERS MORGAN WALKED OFF HIS SET IN A HUFF over differences of opinion. Childish and Unprofessional.
The man who dishes out criticism cannot take it.

The GMB host sensationally quit last night after refusing to publicly apologise for making a widely criticised statement that he didn’t believe a word Meghan said during her controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Today it was revealed Piers quit after after senior execs asked him to say sorry to Meghan live on air after the Duchess contacted ITV to complain about the GMB host.
Speaking to 9New Nigeria from his home in London this morning, Morgan said: “I don’t believe almost anything that comes out of her mouth and I think the damage she’s done to the British monarchy and to the Queen at a time when Prince Philip is lying in hospital is enormous and frankly contemptible.
“If I have to fall on my sword for expressing an honestly-held opinion about Meghan Markle and that diatribe of bilge that she came out with in that interview, so be it.”
Ranvir Singh filled in for Piers on GMB this morning, with an emotional-looking Susanna Read admitting that although she often disagreed with Piers, he will be missed.
Ranvir said that she was glad to be there to support Susanna throughout today’s episode as his replacement, adding: “It can’t be easy”.
Piers stormed offset during a huge row with his GMB co-host yesterday morning after being criticised by co-host Alex Beresford for his reaction to Meghan Markle’s suicide and racism comments in her Oprah interview.
