More reasons to believe and trust in God than not

It’s natural for doubts and scepticism to arise when contemplating the existence of God. After all, it’s a concept that can’t be proven through scientific methods. However, it’s important to recognize that many aspects of our lives are based on faith and belief, without concrete evidence. We trust in the love of our family and friends, even though we can’t measure it. We have faith in the power of our own minds, even though we can’t see our thoughts. Similarly, believing in God requires a leap of faith, but one that can bring immense comfort and meaning to our lives.

The truth is that there are numerous compelling reasons to have faith in and trust in God, outweighing any doubts or uncertainties.

In a world that is often filled with challenges and uncertainties, having something or someone to believe in can provide us with a sense of purpose and comfort. Many individuals find this belief in a higher power – God. Through countless testimonials, historical records, and personal experiences, the evidence supporting the existence of God is substantial. Whether it is the perfect balance of the natural world or the profound impact of prayer on well-being, there are more than enough reasons to believe in and trust in God.

There are many reasons why people sometimes decide to believe that God may not be in existence and even try to convince others to share the same belief that God never exists.

Having conversations with some people, especially those I found out to be atheists, I found out that they really believed in the existence of God but somehow, along the line, something happened that made them start to doubt the existence of God.

One of the many reasons includes scenarios when someone gets disappointed with God due to unanswered prayers or bad things that happened to them that they blamed God for allowing such things to happen. Some would say, where was God when my mom or dad passed away? Where was God when I had cancer and got no healing? Where was God when the natural disasters happened and thousands of people died?

The question can go on and on without an end, but the truth is that God never seeks anyone’s approval to be in existence. He did not get approval from anyone before he became God nor would he need anyone’s approval to remain God. He is God and there is no argument about it.

As a matter of fact, it is widely acknowledged that God is the creator of the world, including the heavens, earth, seas, oceans, plants, and animals. This truth is emphasized in Psalm 24:1-2 (NIV), which states, “The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.”

Moreover, Romans 1:18-22 sheds light on the evidence of God’s existence demonstrated through His creation. The passage begins by proclaiming, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth” (Romans 1:18). This verse highlights that those who deny the truth are suppressing the evidence of God’s existence.

The natural world itself reveals undeniable signs of design and purpose. From the intricate ecosystems to the complex mechanisms at work in even the tiniest organisms, there is a clear indication of an intelligent creator. The laws of physics and mathematics that govern the universe also point to an ordered and intentional design.

Additionally, personal experiences and encounters with God have left countless individuals with no doubt about His existence. The transformative power of prayer, the comfort provided in times of distress, and the guidance received in making important life decisions are all testimonies to the presence and involvement of God in our lives.

In conclusion, the evidence supporting the existence of God is overwhelming. From the grandeur of creation to the personal encounters with the divine, there are more than enough reasons to believe in and trust in God. In a world where uncertainties abound, having faith in a higher power can bring solace, purpose, and guidance.

Whether we believe in God or not, God can not deny that he exists because he is God and he exists, and he created everything that was ever created. 2 Timothy 2:13 says ” If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny who he is. 13 If we give up on him, he does not give up – for there’s no way he can be false to himself. 13 if we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.” So, God will always be God whether we believe him or not. Daniel 4:7 says “This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.”
