The Benue State Taskforce on crime and illegal tax activities has continued to record more success as it apprehended three notorious illegal tax point operators.
According to report, one of the culprits, Sekegh Vakwagh was arrested at Tyogbenda in Ushongo local government of Benue state while the otehr two, Peter Zongo and Teryila Kurgil were both arrested at Yandev in Gboko local government. The Tax force agent said the three men were arrested for operating illegal revenue check points and harrasing travellers.
9News Nigeria gathered that all the suspects have been handed over to the police for further investigation and subsequent prosecution.
