President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Dr. Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu on her election as President of the Union for International Cancer Control, UICC.
The UICC on Tuesday announced that election of the former First Lady of Kebbi State as its president-elect for 2024-2026 term.
She is the first Nigerian and African to be elected for the position.
According to a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu describes her as a renowned pediatrician with distinguished career in public health.
