A 26-year-old Nigerian graduate identified as Dadi Maksen Gusar has reportedly been killed by suspected terrorists while returning home after successfully completing the mandatory one-year national service in Gombe State.

The tragic incident was disclosed by a family member, Namdak Nanbok, in a Facebook post shared on Wednesday.

According to him, Dadi was travelling in a commercial vehicle when armed attackers suspected to be terrorists ambushed the passengers along the route on May 23.

The deceased was said to have recently completed his NYSC service before embarking on the journey home, which sadly ended in tragedy.

The incident has sparked grief among family members, friends, and sympathizers, with many taking to social media to mourn the young and vibrant graduate and condemn the continued insecurity affecting travellers in parts of the county.
