A tragic incident has occurred in Ueken community in Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State, where a man identified as Goodluck Dimkpa was reportedly murdered by a suspected Fulani herdsmen on his farmland..
The grieving family are calling on the Rivers State Government to unjustly intervene and ensure justice is served.
“We are in deep pain. My brother was brutally killed in his own farm. We need the government to help us hold those responsible accountable”, a family member stated.
The community is also appealing for increased security and protection of farmers in the area, citing growing fears over safety in rural parts of the state.
