Marseille president, Jacques-Henri Eyraud has said that the Stade Velodrome club are not interested in signing former Manchester City midfielder, Yaya Toure this summer.
Speaking to L’Equipe, Eyraud said: “After Andre-Frank Zambo-Anguissa was sold to Fulham, we’ve been looking for players in that area. Could it be Yaya Toure? No.”
Toure is available on a free transfer but is not of interest to the Ligue 1 club.
The 35-year-old ended his eight-year stay at City last season.
Recall that Toure joined the Citizens from Barcelona in the summer of 2010 and featured in 230 English Premier League games, scoring 59 times.
The Cote d’Ivoire international won three Premier League titles, two League Cups, one FA Cup and Community Shield with City.
