JOS ((NEWS NIGERIA) – Member Representing Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency, Hon. Musa Agah Avie survived an ambush by unknown gunmen last night along with Twin Hill, Miango chiefdom, and Bassa local government area of Plateau State.
In a statement signed by the National Secretary, Irigwe Development Association, Danjuma Dickson Auta, said.
9News Nigeria correspondent learnt that the lawmaker was returning from Jebbu- Bassa after a successful thank-you tour across the 4 wards of Rukuba chiefdom.
The member was with his wife, two children, Personal Assistant and Driver.
Although they all escaped unhurt, the car was battered with gunshot bullets as the driver against all odds bravely manoeuvred the vehicle amidst the sporadic shooting by the attackers.
Also part of his entourage were Hon. Hwenke Tuhu, Former Majority leader, Bassa local government legislative Arm and others in the car, who equally survived the ambush.
The statement added that two others who were on a motorcycle and ahead of the lawmaker’s vehicle ran into the ambush and were killed by the attackers. Hon. Musa Agah is Representing Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
