American actor, Tyrese Gibson has asserted that true wealth is found in marriage, following his arrest for unpaid child support.
According to him, companionship is biblical as marriage is very important.
He said this in a recent episode on the Club Shay Shay podcast last week.
“True wealth is marriage. Jay-Z and Beyoncé understand that. Nobody needs to go home to a vibrator. Nobody needs to be alone. Nobody should be alone. This concept of being alone is bullsh*t!
“Because most of your favorite female singers who are out here singing these songs are going home to their man, fiancé, or husband… Nobody wants to be alone. Companionship is biblical. Marriage is very important.” He said.
Tyrese has been married and divorced twice. His recent divorce was in 2020 with Samantha Lee.
However, Gibson was arrested today for failing to pay the amount of child support ordered by the court following his most recent divorce.
Gibson refused to pay the $10K/month the presiding judge ordered him to pay in April 2023.
The judge held Tyrese in contempt of court instructing him to avoid jail by paying $73,000 including $7,500 for ex-wife’s Samantha attorney fees.
