IMO: Governor Hope Uzodinma has flagged off the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream 1 NYSC Orientation in Imo State Nigeria.
The event took place at the Imo state NYSC orientation camp over the weekend, where top government functionaries, political leaders, government agencies, clergy, academia and students from various tertiary institutions turned out hugely to witness the flag off as 9News Nigeria reports.
Speaking at the flag off, His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma CON, through his spokesperson said he had the honour of representing His Excellency, Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodinma, as he officially declared open the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream 1 NYSC Orientation Course in Imo State.
“I charged the corps members to embrace patriotism, integrity, and teamwork throughout their service year. I urged them to become ambassadors of hope, reigniting optimism for a greater Nigeria through their actions and commitment.
In his remarks, the NYSC State Coordinator, Mr. Evans Okwor, appreciated Governor Uzodinma for his super support in promoting economic stability and security, thereby creating an enabling environment for youth development in Imo State.
“It was a proud moment as we welcomed the new corps members, encouraging them to approach the orientation with seriousness and to uphold the ideals of discipline, service, and unity that the NYSC stands for, government spokesperson stated.
