
Two suspected notorious for picking pockets of unsuspecting passengers and robbing them of their belongings, have been arrested by the Bayelsa State vigilante security outfit at the popular Tombia roundabout in Yenagoa local government area of the state.
The suspects Daniel Michael and Kelvin Okpoh, were arrested following a tip-off from a victim who identified them after they had succeeded in collecting his phone inside their operational commercial tricycle.
Chairman of state vigilante security outfit Hon. Doubiye Alagba said Daniel is a notorious gang leader and has initiated many boys into the criminal act despite being on the wanted list of the vigilante outfit.
Items recovered from the suspects include their operational tricycle as well as phones snatched from their victims.
The two suspects have since been handed over to the Bayelsa Quick Response Squad named OPERATION DOO-AKPO of the State Police Command for further investigation.
