The Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District, Senator Ned Nwoko has attacked the Nigerian government over the ongoing saga on minimum wage for Nigerian workers.

While Senator Ned was speaking at an event yesterday, he said anything less than N100,000 as minimum wage to Civil Servants is an insult and a public embarrassment to Civil Servants.

He said there are too many problems facing Nigerians right now, insecurity issues and the economy unstable and Nigerians can no longer afford foodstuffs at the market.

My take on the minimum wage, is Nigerians deserve a better rise even though I may say, they deserve more than 100k because things are no longer in the same shape, they were 3 years ago.

A government must make sure its citizens are living comfortably and have a good environment for those who are into businesses to do well, So I think a minimum wage of #100,000 is not out of place for our hard-working Civil Servants.
