The Leadership of Imo State Independent Commission, (ISIEC) led by Hon.Mrs Pauline Onyeka, paid sensitization visited to the Owerri West Local Government Council Headquarters, on Tuesday 20th of April 2021.

The ISEC Chairman was received by the IMC members led by Chairman of Owerri West, Hon. Chief Enyioha Okechukwu (Dimkpa Owerri West) Ndi Eze Owerri West, Hon. Chief Gibson Achonwa Njamanze Oyiga, SA to Governor on ADP, Hon.
Mrs Onyinyechi Azu, SSA to Governor on School Feeding, the Caretakers President Generals of all the Autonomous Communities, the woman leaders, Youth leaders, PROs, APC Political Party LGA excos and other Owerri West Stakeholders.

9News Nigeria has it that the Imo state electoral Chairman ISEC Chairman was poised to deliver a successful election at the ISEC wards in the state when she made it known to the people of Owerri West that, there will be Local Government General Elections in no distance time.

ISEC Boss however charged the council to make possible preparations to key into the conduct of a free and fair Election, which has been approved by the Governor.

She however assured the Masses Her working relationships with the security agencies to make it a success.

Their efforts to create more political wards and capture new developing areas of the Local Government into the new polling units and wards creation is the making.

Responding, Hon.Chief Gibson Achonwa Njamanze Oyiga, on behalf of the Local Government Stakeholders, commend the ISIEC Commissioner for their efforts to insure free and fair elections and also sourcing for advices on areas they need to work on.

The spokesman for Owerri west further assured them of 100% working support to make it a successful election pending when the Government is ready.

In his words, the IMC Chairman, Hon Chief Okechukwu Enyioha, also assured ISEC the collective support from the council to assist them in any thing needed to make it a successful election.

Futhermore, owerri west IMC Boss, Enyioha had earlier urged ISEC to be the best umpire as a commission that will conduct a free and fair election in the State.

The visit turned up dignitaries in Owerri West local government area and the media crew made up of all the caretaker PROs in to the 27rural ISEC Communities of Owerri west ably led by Comrade Princely Onyenwe, Umuoma Nekede PRO and 9News Nigeria correspondent Imo state.
