Following intelligence that Sunday Adeyemi stockpiled weapons in his home , a combined manhunt by Nigerian security forces carried a search wich confirmed reports.
In a well coordinated security raid in the home of the self styled Yoruba activist, a stock pile cache of high profile weapons and other exibits were found.
Reacting to the development , the convener of Concerned Citizens group, Mr Deji Adeyanju in a tweet accused the department of state security of planting guns in Igbohos house. “This is the most blatant distortion of truth and facts , and we hope the security agencies will not look the other way”
Rev Semaka, executive secretary of Save Nigeria Movement while debunking the falsehood , called for the immediate arrest of the Mr Deji Adeyanju so as to help with more information.”
” We can not continue to sit on the fence when paid agents whose sole duty is to promote falsehood and create division continue to have a free day “
“No body can blackmail the security agencies for ever, there should be a limit to falsehood, especially when the peace of 170 million nigerians is threatened”
Rev Semaka recalled Igbohos encounter with Nigerian customs officials during which arms were carted away by Igboho , how then do we attempt to accuse security agents who only acted to save the nation?
“We admit that some of these paid agents are inconsequential but cautioning them at the moment is the only way to minimise falsehood”
