The Okedo’s family in Abubor Nnewichi Nnewi in a bid to imortalize and create a long lasting memory of Late PA Simon Ifionu Okedo their father is set to create a foundation to help the needy in the memory of their beloved father and grand father.
Late PA Sunny Okedo who died at the age of 107 was known for many great things which includes a successful business, a great councilor, a mentor and a philanthropist.
Speaking to 9news Nigeria by the 2nd surviving son of the deceased, Chief Sir Sunny Okedo (Dike Eji Eje MBA) said that their father is known for humanity, great strides and many other goodies including long life and good health.
He further stressed that their father late PA Simon is a very peaceful man who loves to sacrifice for his neighbours. He is a man who loves to touch the lives of people around him and we as his children will wish to continue from where he stopped.
When asked if there is a plan by the family to imortalize their father: Chief Sunny Okedo nodded affirmatively yes, he continued by saying that the family is already concluding it’s plans to start up a foundation in the name of their late Dad that will in turn continue the ministry of helping our people in need.
He also thanked God for the success of the burial ceremony which saw late PA Simon Okedo layed to rest in the mother earth and finally prayed for all those who travelled from far and wide for a Mercy journey back to their various locations.
