Social media platforms have become a breeding ground for untrained skin care producers and beauticians to market and sell products that might be considered very harmful to the skin.
Facebook and Instagram being a channel where skin care experts market and sell skin care products are no longer safe as there has also been a high increase in sales of fake products through these channels.
Many of these fake skin care producers rely on YouTube videos for procedures on how to produce either soap, cream or other products they consider to be pure organic products, but this act only leads to concoctions being produced and sold by these hustlers who have no idea what healthy skin care is all about. Lacking the necessary prerequisite they produce products that can harm the skin
Women around the world using soaps and creams they consider to be pure organic products made without chemicals end up losing their skin to fake products. They seek products that have super powerful actions to lighten hyperpigmentation and dark spots and skin tone creams.
Some of the creams are expected to remove sunburn, revitalize sun damaged skin, repair and hydrate dry rusty skin and make it moisturized all day. These and so many other reasons motivate ladies to ignore the risks hiding behind the quest for artificial beauty, thereby ending up in worse condition.
Sometimes they also seek to buy glow creams in order to brighten their complexion. Such creams contain VitaminC Glutathione , Niacinamide and Arbutin which sometimes, might be too harsh to their skins thereby leaving them with discoloration, sunburn and a dull skin.
In a chat with ladies that have used these organic products, they said that buying skin care products from unknown producers on Facebook and Instagram is totally condemnable, advising that ladies should make sure they check products that contain healthy active ingredients and also be careful when considering the kind of organic skin care to buy from any skin care producer on social media platforms.
