Wives of politicians suppose to divorce their husbands over continuous stealing, Seun Kuti laments

Nigerian Afrobeat star Olusegun Anipulapo Kuti popularly known as Seun Kuti has talking a swipe at the wives of Nigerian politician for not filing divorce despite having knowledge about their husband’s looting the country’s treasury.

The controversial Afrobeats star questioned the rationale behind the love of politicians wives despite the hardship in the country.

Seun Kuti is the last son of legendary Afrobeat godfather, Fela AnikulapoI Kuti.

In a recent Instagram live session he lamented that Nigerian politicians were stealing out of greed, wondering how their wives still managed to love their husbands despite their atrocities.

“I can understand If he was hungry and he went out to steal to provide for his family. But these politicians are wealthy and are still running the lives of million of people because of their greed. Yet, you can’t hear that their wives are seeking divorce.

“Even if you are poor, regardless of how bad your situation is, to hurt somebody else just to eat is completely wrong”
