
Lagos police have arrested the young Lagos Agboro who fought publicly with a Woman Danfo Driver while she allegedly boarded the young man as a passenger.
The fight began between them when the female driver said she observed the young man attempted snatching her motor battery and she applied her break, held him and raised public alarm as witnesses told journalists.
The lady danfo driver molested by an agbero in Lagos has received significant attention, with the incident sparking widespread outrage. The social media was hugely outraged by the viral video.

Meanwhile, Police incident details indicates that the female driver was allegedly assaulted by the agbero, identified as Friday Onu, on April 7, 2025, near the Oriental Hotel in Lagos.
Onu boarded her vehicle, claiming to be heading to the Nigerian Law School, but attempted to steal her car battery. When she confronted him, he launched a violent attack, beating her, tearing her clothes, and physically dragging her.
On interrogation, the Victim’s reaction was that the driver, Yetunde Amole, has been vocal about seeking justice, expressing frustration with the lack of support from the National Union of Road Transport Workers and Lagos State authorities despite paying levies.
She’s demanding action against her assailant and greater protection for female drivers.

While responding to the female Danfo drive, police response was firstly placed arrest on the respondent.
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested Onu, and he is currently in custody. The command has assured the public that justice will be served, and Onu will be charged in court once he’s deemed fit to stand trial.

At the time of filling this report by 9News Nigeria, Wednesday afternoon, there’s still an ongoing investigation into the matter while the Young Agboro is detained in police custody.
The police are continuing their investigation, and the case is being closely monitored. The Lagos State Police Command has urged the public to cooperate with law enforcement authorities to ensure justice is served.
However, the matter will be charged to court at the closure of police investigation in Lagos and justice will prevail.
