The South-South Region of Youths for New Nigeria (YNN) is set to host another dynamic youth summit to further drive home the role of youthful engagements in national development.
About this time last year, the summit was held virtually on zoom due to the covid-19 pandemic and global lockdown.
Despite the drastic change in the ways of life at the time, the group led a wonderful discussion that centred on moving Nigeria forward beyond total dependence on Oil wealth to identifying various other channels of wealth creation for the government and majorly for the people of the southern extraction and beyond.
This year’s International Youth Day centres around securing human and planetary health through innovation, but for human health to be guaranteed, there has to be an end to hunger.
With the challenging realities of insecurity and danger on lives, properties and livelihood steering at us in the face all across Nigeria today from the North to South, it is imperative we use this medium to charge all stakeholders to not fold hands anymore but rise up to the demands to safeguard our territory before we all die of hunger and become enslaved in our own dear fatherland.
Join us live in Benin City tomorrow at The Conference Hall, National Museum, Benin City for a well engaging moment as we discuss with practical stakeholders as concerns ways to end hunger and create enduring employment for our youths.
The dangers in Cross River must not be underrated, the slow pace of development in Bayelsa must stop, insecurity, unemployment and unrest in Delta since #EndSARS should not be ignored.
The Youths for New Nigeria YNN, South-South Region invites you now to join this result-driven deliberation to birth a peaceful and prosperous nation for us all with the goal to achieve #SDGgoal2 which is to #EndHunger for our people.
You can join live from anywhere you are in the world, simply connect to https://facebook.com/youthsfornewnigeria
