Egyptian Premier League Club, Zamalex has confirmed the appointment of ex-Super Eagles manager Jose Peseiro, as the new head coach.
The White Knight made the announcement on their official website.
Peseiro, 64, has been without a job since leaving his post with Nigeria in March 2024.
The tactician penned an 18-month contract with the 14-time Egyptian Champions.
The Portuguese is making a return to Egypt having already coached Al Ahly in the 2015/2016 season.
He is expected to earn $65,000 monthly in his first six months at the club after which his pay will be increased to $85,000 monthly from next football season.
Zamalex recently sacked former Tottenham Hotspur manager, Christian Gross, paving the way for Peseiro’s appointment.
