Speaking on Saturday, May 31, 2025, the Director General of NSEMA, Abdullahi Baba Arah, said that 11 people were injured and 3,018 others displaced by flood.
Baba Arah further stated that 503 households across 265 houses in three communities were affected by disaster.
He added that two roads and two bridges were completely washed away as a result of the floods.
Recall that many residents of Mokwa town were swept away in their sleep on Thursday night after torrential rainfall that lasted several hours.
