20, 000 Christian Youth Set To Arise for Global Impact
The largest gathering of young people on the continent of Africa in 2023 is set to take place in Nigeria. 20, 000 youths from all parts of Nigeria and Africa will gather together under one roof for 3 Days of worship, encounter, impartation, networking, partnership, and harnessing global opportunities that will transform them into global champions
The participants will include over 20, 000 young people from different youth groups, Christian leaders, change-makers, government officials, activists, policymakers, and development partners. The participants are expected to learn from various leaders and connect with partners and also network with innovators. The congress is targeted at igniting and raising new set of leaders that will make global impact.
The roll call of speakers, renowned and Christian National and International thought leaders to grace the occasion include Revd Dr. Israel Adelani Akanji, Pastor Tunde Bakare, Minister Dunsin Oyekan, Dr. Mrs. Sarah Alade, Revd Dr. Chika Ossai-Ugbah, Revd Mike Babatunde, Revd Dr. Matthew Awujoola, Revd Dr Philip Oyewale, Dr Israel Kristilere among other professionals in different human endeavors that are endearing to the hearts of young people.
The Congress with the theme ‘Arise’ will hold from 6th-9th, September, 2023 at the Baptist International Convention Center, Lufuwape Town, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway with the aim of raising and igniting a generation of young people who will go from the Congress to make global impact in all sectors.
Arise Congress is been out together by the Nigerian Baptist Convention with the Youth and Student Ministries Department under the leadership of Revd Dr. S. Olawuyi James spearheading the planning and implementation of the Congress. Those interested in attending the congress are encouraged to go to www.congress.ariseforimpact.org to register for the programme.
