A son to the former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Abraham Olujonwo has officially joined the campaign team of President Muhammadu Buhari.
This was disclosed by Buhari’s Personal Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie via her Twitter handle, on Wednesday.
Onochie disclosed that Obasanjo’s son was received by the Director of Strategic Communications of Buhari Campaign Organisation, Festus Keyamo.
“Obasanjo Joins Buhari’s Campaign Team:
“From Left- Alhaji Nasiru Danu, Director of Logistics, Olujonwo Obasanjo (son of OBJ) and Barr. Festus Keyamo, SAN (Director of Strategic Communications & official Spokesperson, PMB Campaign Organisation, as they officially receive Obasanjo,” she tweeted.
Recall that Olujonwo had recently declared his support for the re-election bid of Buhari.
A statement by Keyamo had quoted Olajuwon as saying, “Dear Sir, please find attached a statement of my public declaration and support for the 2019 second term re-election bid of our highly esteemed President Buhari
“I have taken a personal decision to release the statement and to notify you of my availability to work for the re-election of our dear President Muhammadu Buhari with sincerity and loyalty.
“Please accept my assurances of the highest regards.”
