2023: Governor Sule wins APC ticket to seek second term

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State has elected Governor Abdullahi Sule as its candidate to seek second term in office.

Governor Sule defeated a 43 year- old femal aspirant, Dr fatmah Abdullahi in a style to emerged as as the party’s candidate for by the 2023 general elections.

The gubernatorial primaries of the governing party held at the City Hall, Lafia.

Governor Sule polled a record of 698 votes, while his only challenger to the party primaries, a woman scored 3 votes.

However, Delegates at the venue were over 100 women, but a woman amongst them got just 3 votes as against 698.
