The Imo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to inaugurate its state campaign council ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The inauguration, directed by the Imo State Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON, is scheduled to hold on Monday, 14 September, 2026, at the Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre, Owerri.
The ceremony is expected to bring together key stakeholders of the party, including the Deputy Governor, serving and former members of the National Assembly, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, state lawmakers, members of the APC State Executive Committee, government appointees, executive chairmen and councillors of all local government areas.
Also expected at the event are APC local government chairmen and secretaries, party leaders and stakeholders, nominated leaders, as well as APC candidates.
In an invitation signed by the APC Imo State Chairman, Chief Austine Onyedebelu, party leaders were urged to attend the ceremony and provide the guidance needed to strengthen unity and mobilise support for the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
The party said the presence of its leaders would inspire “unity, strength, and total victory for APC across Imo State.”
