Executive Assistant to the Delta governor on Political Matters (Non Indigenes ) and renowned community leader Rtn Peter Idion has described statement by the All Progressive Congress APC in Edo State against Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State on alleged importation of arms and persons believed to be thugs into Edo State as unreasonable.
Idion who made this know In Agbor while reacting to APC allegation noted that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa doesn’t believe in thugs before winning election.
According to Idion, Governor Okowa is a grassroot Politician known as “Master Planner”.
He noted that the All progressive Congress APC is scared of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa political achievements including governance.
“Governor Okowa is a Christian and don’t believe in Thugs.
He is a strategies, a notable grassroot and peaceful politician.
When it comes to Election , Governor Okowa is a lover of Ward to Ward Campaign, peaceful election and looking at Governor Obaseki achievements, Governor Okowa decided to joined him in Ward to ward Campaign
So I wonder how the Edo APC came up with their unreasonable assumption, concoct stories won’t help them.” he said
He observed that the peace in Delta State today is as a result of Governor Okowa leadership qualities and partnership with Deltans .
