Former Ekiti Governor, Fayose planning to force some State and Local government Chairmen, to protest against Makinde in Abuja. Says By Segun Aeroland

A top chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Otunba Segun Adewale popularly known as Aeroland has warned the State Chairman, Engr Deji Doherty to refrain from his unholy alliance with the former governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose, whose actions against the only Governor the party produced in South West is questionable.
Adewale said he got a wind of the plot by Fayose, to mobilize and force some State Chairmen and their local government chairmen to Abuja, to protests and make it look like Makinde is not popular in the South West as a leader.
According to him, Fayose’s plot is to de-legitimize the leadership of Makinde and use the media to blackmail the Oyo State governor, who has been doing everything possible to bring peace to the party.
No matter the political scheming by Fayose, the Board of Trustee, NEC and the NWC of the PDP led by Prince Uche Secondus, should not open their eyes and fold their arms, while Fayose goes ahead with this plot of destabilizing the South West region, except they are complicit in the plan.
Adewale said, when Fayose was the only Governor in South West, nobody could control him or make input in the party’s affairs, he got to a point that, he started disrespecting and insulting former President Olusegun Obasanjo in the public, same he did to Chief Bode George when Deji Doherty mobilized some members to give Fayose an audience, where Atona Oodua, Chief Bode George was publicly embarrassed by Fayose. Why should anyone follow this path, capable of jeopardizing the victory of PDP in South West, Adewale queried.
Adewale stated further by warning that if anybody including Doherty follows Fayose to Abuja, it is better for him/them to remain there or follow Fayose back to Ekiti because they will face the wrath of the peace and law abiding members of Lagos PDP, who did not send them to protest.
It is unfortunate that Doherty who has been nursing the ambition of becoming either State Chairman or Governor, got an opportunity to be State Chairman of the strongest opposition party, but blew it up with his incompetence, and loyalty to money.
Some of us have received several calls from various stakeholders blaming us on why we allowed a “Dull mind” like him to be the State Chairman. We cannot defend him as he himself has not shown that he is capable of handling the office and the leadership role given to him, of course many of the errors will be corrected in the next State Congress.
Let it be on record that any member of Lagos PDP that follows Fayose to protest or plot against our party, aiding him to disrupt and destroy our party in Lagos, will face severe consequence. Even if you are poor, the little money thrown at you as bait is not enough for you to join those who wants to bring down the roof at all cost, Adewale said.
