Former Gabonese President Ali Bongo who has been dethroned today has appealed to the world to beg the coupist to release him and his family.
Bongo’s call for leniency sent from an unconfirmed says:
“I Ali Bongo Ondimba, President of Gabon, want to send a message to all our friends that we have all over the world to make noise, make noise for my release and the release of my Family. We have all been arrested and we do not know what is happening. Please go out there and make noise. Am thanking you”
As at Press time, the military officer who will lead Gabon government is not yet publicized.
