A heavy pregnant woman simply identified as Mrs Ogunbumi has been abducted in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The victim said to be due for delivery had left her home in Oke Lantoro for the State General Hospital, Ijaiye, Abeokuta, but was kidnapped along the way by unidentified gunmen.
Her husband, Ogunbumi Lateef, said he received a WhatsApp message notifying him of his wife abduction.
The State Police Spokesman, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident but did not go into details.
