Life coach, public speaker, a former Imo state house of assembly speaker and lawyer, Rt. Hon. Barr. Ike Ibe has warned individuals against envy and the fear of failure.
Hon. Ibe said this in his ‘Balancing pains and gains’ message on July 3rd, Wednesday in Abuja.
According to the life coach, every successful person has a background story, insisting that while trying to make one’s own path, the success of one should motivate another.
He then denounced a situation in which Nigerians are scared of falling or failing in life, stressing that such fear instills envy amongst associates, friends, family and even colleagues in a work environment.
“People’s success shouldn’t depress or traumatize anyone. Success on the other hand, should serve as a boost to one’s ego, morale and hard-work.
“Do not be afraid of failing because it’s only an opportunity to rise up again, learn from previous mistakes and work harder to succeed.” He said.
He added that good qualities and values in people should be sought after, highlighting the need for an individual’s mind to be filled with wisdom and knowledge.
