The 24- hour curfew imposed on the greater Jos-Bukuru Metropolis has seen a high level of compliance from citizens, with residents largely staying indoors and avoiding any gatherings or demostrations.
9News Nigeria correspondent reports that the streets and major roads in the metropolis have remained deserted, with only security personnel and essential service providers visible.
Businesses and markets in the area have also closed, with traders and shop owners complying with the curfew.
The streets of Ahmadu Bello Way, Rwang Pam street, Old Bukuru park and the Terminus market in Jos North regarded as business hub with influx from all parts of the state have been ghosted as the 24-hour curfew witnesses high compliance by citizens.
