Civil servant in Nasarawa State, predominantly new recruits have appealed to the State Government to prioritize the implementation of new wage amidst the current economic realities in the country.
The workers made the appeal on Thursday in a peaceful protest ongoing in Lafia, days after Governor Abdullahi Sule has concedes to the demand of union leaders to prioritize the implementation of outstanding 2018 – 2024 promotions ahead of the N70,000 minimum wage.
The workers in their numbers were seen carrying placards with different inscriptions to press home their demands.
