Following the controversial circulation that The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had suspended former Senator and the party’s governorship candidate in 2023 for Kogi state from the party, the PDP in Ijumu local government area of Kogi State has dismissed the circulation.
According to the Committee chairman of the council of PDP in Ayetoro/lluagba Ward 1, Ijumu local government area of Kogi State, the suspension was indeed a breach of the party’s constitution.
Recall that earlier, the Executive Committee of PDP in the ward announced Melaye’s suspension over allegations of anti party bias.
However, Senator Melaye has shared a post on his social media, throwing jabs at Acting National Chairman of the PDP, Umar Iliya Damagum, insisting that he was the “source of PDP problems”.
