The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) acknowledges the bravery of the people of Edo State for apprehending alleged All Progressives Congress (APC) thugs who were reportedly attempting to smuggle guns into the state. Our party also appreciates the efforts of the security operatives who assisted in apprehending the APC thugs and preventing potential violence during the upcoming Governorship election on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
The PDP calls on the police to ensure that the apprehended APC thugs are held accountable through appropriate legal processes.
The PDP encourages the people of Edo State to maintain peace and remain vigilant in protecting their democratic rights and votes during the election.
