A Lawmaker in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr Onarigu Onah Kana, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of a grassroots politician and constituent, Mr Adamu Elayiku.
Onarigu who represents Loko/ Udege Constituency described Elayiku’s death as a great loss to his commuinity, Apura and the entire state.
A statement by the Lawmaker’s media aide, Eshimutu Kwokpa conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late grassroots politician and his immediate community.
“Adamu Kaika Elayigu was sufficiently committed and hardworking, an enthusiast who believe in a brighter future of our dear Constituency. And I understand that his passion never dies till date.
“I heartily pray that Almighty Allah grant the state and his family the strength to bear the loss”, the statement reads further.
Adamu Kaika Elayigu died on Thursday September 26 in Jos University Teaching Hospital, JUTH, Plateau State after a brief illness and since been buried according to Islamic rites.
