Kadaria Ahmed, a reknown journalist and broadcaster would anchor the 5th Lake Chad Basin Governors Forum, set to commence today Wednesday at Muhammadu Indimi International Conference Centre, University of Maiduguri.
The program would feature three Nigerian states governors and five more from Cameroon, Chad and Niger Republic, who will deliberate on relevant developmental issues and challenges facing the region.
A former BBC broadcaster, Kadaria is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Radio Now in Lagos State.
With decades of experience in journalism and contemporary issues, Kadaria has been dealing discussions on the development of societies across national and international stage.
Also, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria is expected to be present, while he would be represented by Vice President, Sen. Kashim Shettima.
Although the program is hosted by Yobe State Government, it was scheduled to hold in Maiduguri, Borno State.
