A 45-year-old man has taken legal steps to dissolve his marriage after his wife mistakenly kissed American R&B singer during his performance at a concert in London.
The incident occurred at Usher’s sold out show, which was attended by over 20,000 fans.
According to the aggrieved husband his wife, whom he has been married for for several years, had never publicly kissed him, yet she unexpectedly kissed the superstar infront of thousands of people.
Speaking on the matter, the man expressed deep at disappointment at his wife’s actions.
He stated that while he understood the excitement of the moment, he could not fathom why she would display such public affection for a complete stranger when she had always been reserved with him in public.
“I have never received such an act of affection from her in public, and yet she did it effortless with Usher infront of 20,000 people”, he lamented.
The man further stated that he sees the act as a betrayal, despite his wife insisting it was an innocent mistake, he has, therefore, vowed to end their marriage, asserting that he can no longer continue in a relationship where he feels disrespected.
As for now, there has been no official statement from the woman regarding the divorce filing.
However, the story has sparked online debates, with some sympathizing with the husband, while others argued that his decision might be overreaction.
Usher, known for engaging his audience intimately during performances, has yet to comment on the situation.
