Gov Uzodinma About To Present State Of The State Address Amidst Heavy Security Presence, As IMHA Gets Set

IMO: His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma is about to be received by the Imo House of Assembly IMHA this Tuesday afternoon as scheduled by the state government.

9News Nigeria , Imo House of Assembly IMHA correspondent reports that the Governor of Imo State, Dr Hope Uzodinma CON has been scheduled to visit the Assembly complex to present his score card to Imolites.

Recall that Governor Uzodinma’s visit is a normal official routine scheduled to give a state of state account of stewardship of his income and expenditure, policies and programs alongside his administrative plans to progress the state.

The stage is getting ready for Governor Uzodinma’s arrival haven recorded series of influx of security officers in and out of the IMHA premises Owerri. However, entrances are cordoned by armed men across boards while serious checks are placed on both human and vehicular movements within the complex.

In furtherance , the Imo State Government through the office of Chief press secretary, wishes to inform the public that the State of the State Address, scheduled to be delivered by His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodinma, CON, Governor of Imo State, today Tuesday, June 24, 2025.

1. All political office holders, both at the national and state levels
2. Political leaders, including party executives across all political parties
3. Leaders of professional bodies (e.g., NBA, NMA, etc.)
4. Leaders of trade unions
5. Religious leaders
6. Local Government President-Generals of town unions in the 27 LGAs
7. Eze Imo and Chairmen of Local Government Traditional Rulers’ Councils in the 27 LGAs
8. Members of the Elders’ Council
9. Leaders of youth organizations
10. Leaders of market associations
11. Leaders of transport workers
12. Leaders of civil society organisations

All invited guests are expected to be seated thirty minutes before the arrival of His Excellency as scheduled.
