Nigerian rapper, Speed Darlington, has opined that it is impossible for women to be submissive when they are richer than their partner.
9news Nigeria reports that Speed Darlinton made this known in a recent episode of ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast.
According to Speed Darlington rich women dislike submission but can feign it to get married.
The rapper urged men to ensure that they are richer than their partners to save their relationships and marriages from future conflicts.
Speed Darlington added that he fancies submissive and supportive women, not rich and independent ones.
He said, “You cannot tell me that a woman that is worth multi millions will be submissive to her husband.
“I don’t believe that. Power does not like to submit. I am not very rich but I am still proud of the little I have.
“Now, imagine a wealthy woman who has house in Lagos and in the village, she definitely can’t be submissive. she can say that to just get married but deep down, she will never be submissive.
“There will be issues if your woman makes more money than you as a man. It is going to be a problem. Try your best as a man to not allow your woman to be richer than you. If she does, she will be aggressive and never be submissive.”
