An interview on Arise News was abruptly cut short after Lere Olayinka, media aide to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, declined to take questions from one of the programme’s anchors, Rufai Oseni.
Olayinka, who was participating in the interview, expressed his unwillingness to engage with Oseni, saying he preferred the discussion to be conducted among “reasonable human beings.”
“I don’t want to answer any question from you, Oseni Rufai. I want this conversation to be among reasonable human beings; people who won’t describe other people as ‘Gbewudani’,” Olayinka said.
The comment references Oseni’s previous use of the term “Gbewudani” in describing another individual.
Following the exchange, the interview was brought to an end, by one of the anchors, Ayo Mario Ese.
